No/Low alcohol
Non-alcoholic wine is initially produced in the same way as conventional wine: grapes are harvested, pressed and the juice fermented. The alcohol is then removed by processes such as vacuum distillation or reverse osmosis, with the flavor being largely retained. In Germany, non-alcoholic wine may contain up to 0.5 percent by volume of residual alcohol. On the other hand, products marked “without alcohol” must contain 0.0 percent alcohol.
