In der Nase entfaltet er ein intensives Bouquet von Blaubeeren, Brombeeren und Cassis, ergänzt durch Noten von Holzkohle, Bleistiftspänen und Zigarrentabak. Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Wein vollmundig und strukturiert, mit beeindruckender Reinheit und Intensität. Die Tannine sind präsent, aber gut integriert, was auf ein hohes Reifepotenzial hindeutet. Der Abgang ist langanhaltend und vielschichtig.
