its superior quality.The special feature of this wine lies in its origin and processing. The Sangiovese grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature and macerate with the skins for 20 days. The wine is then aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for 18 months and in barriques for a further 12 months before being refined in the bottle for at least 6 months
