The Rosenmuskateller Praepositus 2022 from Neustift Abbey is an aromatic dessert wine made from the Rosenmuskateller grape, which is only cultivated in small quantities. In the glass, it appears deep ruby red with violet highlights. The nose offers aromas of rose petals, dried fruits, nutmeg, and clove. On the palate, it is balanced and full-bodied, with a fine sweetness and well-integrated acidity. Subtle tannins give it structure and lead to a medium-length finish. A good match for chocolate-based desserts, mature blue cheese, or simply enjoyed on its own.
