The Alberico Rosso 2020 from pours a deep ruby red with vivid garnet highlights. The bouquet is layered: intense ripe red fruit, almost spirituous, intertwined with forest floor, humus, pepper seeds, and subtle wood and spice notes. On the palate it is full-bodied and structured, dominated by firm tannins, underpinned by a distinctive mineral streak (thanks to volcanic soils), and finishes long with graphite-like echoes.
