The Château Montrose La Dame de Montrose 2020 displays a deep ruby colour with violet highlights in the glass, typical of a refined Saint-Estèphe Bordeaux. On the nose it reveals pronounced red and dark fruit aromas such as cherry, blackcurrant and blueberry, complemented by delicate floral hints and fine spice notes. On the palate this Second Wine is well-balanced and structured, with silky tannins and a clear fruit core. The fruit character continues, joined by subtle mineral and saline freshness, giving the wine precision and enduring length. It is approachable in its youth but also offers capacity for further development with some cellaring.
