The Linticlarus Cuvée Riserva DOC 2022 from Tiefenbrunner Winery is a red wine of power and finesse, perfectly reflecting the potential of South Tyrol’s terroir. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc combines structure, fruit and depth in seamless harmony. The grapes come from carefully selected vineyards around Niclara near Cortaccia, where warm days and cool nights create the ideal balance between ripeness and freshness.
The Riserva designation stands for extended ageing and patience: the wine matures first in small oak barrels and then in bottle, allowing its complex aromas and silky texture to unfold. In the glass, it reveals a deep ruby red with violet hues. The bouquet is multilayered, featuring ripe dark berries, plum and cassis, alongside notes of vanilla, tobacco and subtle spice.
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and concentrated yet beautifully balanced. Ripe tannins, integrated oak and a touch of freshness provide structure and length. A cuvée of international stature that unites strength, elegance and regional identity with remarkable precision.
