In the glass, the Abate Nero Domini 2020 reveals a striking straw‑to‑gold hue with very fine and persistent bubbles. On the nose, it opens with aromas of ripe yellow‑fleshed fruit such as cooked apple and plum, hints of bergamot, saline minerals and a delicate brioche‑like yeast tone. On the palate the millesimato Brut impresses with elegant creaminess: yellow fruit notes blend into candied citrus, underpinned by refined mineral character and balanced acidity, finishing long and harmonious.
