The Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Valpantena 2022 by Bertani reveals a deep ruby red color. Its bouquet is rich with notes of cherry and wild berries, layered with warm spices and a hint of chocolate. On the palate, it is full-bodied and smooth, with structured tannins and a lingering, balanced finish. Made from Corvina Veronese (70%), Corvinone (20%), and Rondinella (10%) grapes grown in the Valpantena region, the wine undergoes the traditional Ripasso process—re-fermented on Amarone skins—to gain added depth and complexity. It matures in large oak casks and concrete vats, followed by a 3-month bottle refinement.
