The Pinot Grigio DOC 2025 from Muri-Gries Winery is a distinctive white wine from South Tyrol, expressing a structured yet elegant style typical of this grape variety grown in an alpine climate. The grapes are sourced from vineyards between Bolzano and Appiano at altitudes ranging from 260 to 500 meters. Vinification takes place exclusively in stainless steel tanks, preserving the varietal purity and structural clarity. Pinot Grigio is one of the most important white grape varieties in Italy, particularly widespread in the northern regions. It is known for producing structured wines with good body and refined aromatics. In South Tyrol, it develops a particularly precise and elegant profile.
In the glass, it shows a pale straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it reveals aromas of fresh fruit and ripe Williams pear, complemented by delicate herbal notes of mint and lemon balm, along with subtle hints of hazelnut and butter. On the palate, it is structured and full, with good persistence and a long finish marked by a slight bitter note.
