The Custoza DOC 2025 from Cantina Zeni is a classic white wine from Veneto produced in the morainic hills south of Lake Garda. The vineyards are located in the historic Custoza area in the province of Verona, where mild climate and mineral-rich moraine soils create ideal conditions for elegant and aromatic white wines. The proximity to Lake Garda helps maintain balanced temperatures and supports a slow and even ripening of the grapes.
The wine is made from a blend of traditional regional grape varieties, mainly Garganega, Trebbiano and Tocai Friulano, with a small proportion of Chardonnay. Garganega provides structure and delicate floral aromas, Trebbiano adds freshness and lightness, while Tocai Friulano and Chardonnay contribute additional aromatic complexity and roundness. The grapes are harvested by hand, gently pressed and the must undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation. The wine is then aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and aromatic purity.
In the glass, Custoza DOC 2025 displays a pale straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections. The bouquet reveals floral aromas of spring blossoms, accompanied by subtle fruity notes. On the palate the wine is smooth, fresh and pleasantly aromatic, with balanced structure and a harmonious finish.
