The Blauburgunder Rosé DOC 2025 from Stroblhof Estate is an elegant rosé from South Tyrol that reflects the refined character of Pinot Noir in a fresh and lively style. The grapes come from the estate’s Pinot Noir vineyards around Appiano, where calcareous soils with porphyry and red clay give the wines structure and character. The alpine climate with strong day-night temperature variations provides excellent conditions for Burgundy varieties.
The wine is made exclusively from Pinot Noir. For this rosé, the estate uses the saignée method, drawing off juice from the Pinot Noir fermentation tanks. The must is then fermented in stainless steel and aged for several months before bottling. This method results in a rosé with clear fruit expression, freshness and elegant balance.
In the glass the wine shows a bright salmon-pink colour. The nose reveals delicate aromas of red berries such as raspberry and cherry, accompanied by subtle floral hints. On the palate it is fresh, lively and well balanced, supported by a pleasant acidity and fine fruit. The finish is juicy and harmonious, making the wine an approachable and versatile rosé.
