Pomerol is a small yet prestigious wine appellation located on the Right Bank of Bordeaux, in France. Despite its modest size, it ranks among the most sought-after regions in the world for Merlot-based red wines. Its charm lies in the unique blend of elegant structure, silky texture, and deep complexity. Red wine from Pomerol typically features a dominant share of Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc.
