When speaking of Jermann, one refers to a winery deeply rooted in the history of Italian winemaking. The journey began in 1881, when great-grandfather Anton Jermann moved from Austria's Burgenland region to Farra d'Isonzo and founded the winery.
Today, the estate spans 200 hectares of land, including 170 hectares of vineyards and 20 hectares of farmland.
Behind the brilliance of world-renowned wines like Vintage Tunina, Dreams, and Red Angel lies a constant dialogue with the land and a commitment to creating unique wines.
Jermann's vineyards benefit from the distinctive characteristics of the Collio terroir, with loose and fresh soil, moderate daytime temperatures, and cool nights, allowing the aromas and flavors to transition seamlessly from grape to wine.
In 2007, Silvio Jermann fulfilled another dream with the opening of a new winery in Ruttars, in the heart of Dolegna del Collio, surrounded by more than 20 hectares of vineyards. This winery was designed with a strong focus on sustainability and environmental protection, earning the CasaClima Wine certification for ecological sustainability.
