Pierpaolo Pecorari

The Pierpaolo Pecorari winery is located in the heart of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, in San Lorenzo Isontino. Founded in the 1970s, it has become a symbol of quality and innovation. Pierpaolo Pecorari, the founder, focused on sustainable viticulture and traditional techniques to get the best out of the terroir.

The specialty of the winery lies in the variety and quality of its wines. The soils are rich in clay and lime, which gives the wines a distinctive minerality. The microclimate, influenced by the proximity to the Adriatic Sea and the Alps, offers ideal conditions for growing grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Friulano,

Merlot and Pinot Grigio. The estate's most famous wines include the “Sauvignon Blanc Zuc di Volpe”, which impresses with its freshness and aromatic intensity, and the “Merlot Riserva”, which is appreciated for its depth and complexity. The “Friulano”, a white wine with notes of almonds and white flowers, is also a highlight and shows the diversity of the region.
