Tenuta Luisa is a family-owned winery located in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy, an area known for its high-quality white and red wines. Founded in 1927, the estate has been passed down through generations and is today managed by Eddi and his sons Michele and Davide, who continue to uphold the family’s values of quality, sustainability, and innovation.
The vineyards of Tenuta Luisa span over 100 hectares near the town of Mariano del Friuli, benefiting from the region’s unique terroir. The proximity to the Adriatic Sea and the Julian Alps creates an ideal microclimate with warm days, cool nights, and excellent ventilation—perfect for slow, balanced grape ripening.
Tenuta Luisa produces a wide range of wines, including internationally renowned varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as local grapes like Friulano and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso.
