Massimo Rivetti

Unique wines from Piedmont

The Massimo Rivetti winery, located in the picturesque Neive region of Piedmont, looks back on a rich history spanning five generations. Founded in the 1940s, the winery has made a name for itself over the decades for excellent wines and sustainable viticulture. Today, the winery comprises 25 hectares of organically farmed vineyards with an annual production of around 100,000 bottles.

One of the special features of the winery is the location of its vineyards. These stretch across the hills of Neive, one of the most renowned wine-growing areas for Barbaresco. The soils are rich in lime and clay, which gives the wines a special minerality and structure. The region's microclimate, with its cool nights and warm days, promotes slow and uniform ripening of the grapes, which leads to intensive aroma formation.

Massimo Rivetti wines are known for their elegance and depth. The complex aromas of dark berries, cocoa, vanilla and spices, which are enhanced by aging in large Slavonian oak barrels, are typical of the winery's wines. The Barbaresco DOCG Froi and the Barbaresco Riserva Serraboella are prime examples of the winery's ability to express the terroir in wine.

There is a particular focus on traditional farming methods, complemented by modern techniques. This enables the winery to produce wines that not only offer the highest quality but also protect the environment. The hand-picked grapes and the long aging in oak barrels give the wines their characteristic depth and complexity.
