Glögglhof - Franz Gojer

The Glögglhof, run by Franz Gojer, is a traditional winery in the renowned St. Magdalener wine-growing region. This family business is characterized by its expert care of the autochthonous Vernatsch, Lagrein grape varieties as well as international varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon and Kerner. The Glögglhof stands for wines that not only impress with their individual character, but also clearly express the identity of their origin.

The winemaking process here follows the “less is more” principle, with minimal intervention in the cellar to give the wines enough space to develop. This careful and experienced handling in the wine cellar preserves the unique character of each vintage. Compared to mass productions, Glögglhof wines offer an honest and unadulterated presentation of their origin.

The creative process of winemaking starts in the vineyard, where the Gojer family meticulously supervises every phase of vine development from sprouting to harvest. Particular attention is paid to sustainability and maintaining layer typicity. Through careful treatment in all phases of production, Glögglhof is able to create authentic wines that reflect both the quality of the terroir

and their outstanding workmanship.
