Schmid-Oberrautner
The Schmid-Oberrautner winery is located in the heart of the South Tyrolean wine region, which looks back on a long tradition and a close connection with nature. With over 5 hectares of family-owned vineyards and an annual production of around 60,000 bottles of wine, the winery is synonymous with quality and craftsmanship.
The Schmid-Oberrautner vineyards cover some of the best locations in South Tyrol and are mainly planted with the Lagrein and St. Magdalener grape varieties. Pinot Noir, Merlot, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc are also cultivated, resulting in a diverse range of wines.
The grapes are processed according to the principle of conservation and closeness to nature in order to best preserve the unique characteristics of the wines. Traditional farming methods and strict yield limits ensure that the vines receive optimal conditions to develop their full range of aromas and flavors.
