The Köfererhof is located in Novacella near Bressanone, in the Eisack Valley, one of South Tyrol’s most historic winegrowing regions. First mentioned in the 12th century, the estate is still shaped today by its long history and unique terroir. On around 5 hectares at an altitude of about 650 meters, some of the region’s most distinctive white wines are produced. The cool alpine climate, steep slopes, and mineral-rich soils of diorite and granite give the wines freshness, elegance, and a pronounced aromatic character.
Köfererhof is particularly renowned for its Pinot Grigio, considered among the finest in Italy. Sylvaner, Grüner Veltliner, and Riesling also impress with precision, longevity, and clarity of fruit. The estate is run by Günther Kerschbaumer, who combines craftsmanship with a deep sensitivity to the terroir. Köfererhof stands for authentic Eisack Valley wines, uniting tradition and quality at the highest level.
