The Andrian winery, also known as Cantina di Andriano, is a leading winery in South Tyrol, a renowned wine region in northern Italy. Founded in 1893, it specializes in the production of top-quality wines and is considered one of the oldest cooperatives in South Tyrol. In 2008, the Andrian winery merged with the neighboring Terlan winery. This merger enabled both companies to combine their strengths, with Andrian maintaining its own character and independent brand image while producing wines in Terlan's modern facilities.
The Andrian winery is located in the Überetsch sub-region, near the city of Bolzano, surrounded by picturesque vineyards protected by the South Tyrolean Alps. The winery is run by a community of winemakers who are closely linked to local vineyards and traditional winemaking. They rely on sustainable farming methods and combine modern cellar techniques with a deep respect for the region's terroir and local grape varieties.
A special feature of the Andrian winery is its variety of wines, which represent the broad spectrum of South Tyrolean wine culture. The most famous wines include Sauvignon Blanc “Andrius”, Chardonnay “Doran” and Lagrein “Rubeno”. These wines are characterized by their elegance, finesse and the ability to perfectly reflect the characteristic features of the grape varieties and the terroir.
