The Kiemberger Winery in Terlano, South Tyrol, looks back on a long history closely linked to the Kofler family. More than a hundred years ago, this very place was home to a post station where travelers not only paused for rest but also tasted the first wines that laid the foundation for the estate’s winemaking tradition. With deep passion and a strong bond to their homeland, the family decided in 2007 to resume wine production under their own direction. Since then, characterful wines have been produced in the vineyards around Terlano, reflecting both the unique terroir and the signature of the winemaking family.
Today, the Kiemberger Winery presents three distinct wine lines, each representing its own style and philosophy – from fresh, varietal wines to more complex, artisan creations. A true flagship is the “Weisses Handwerk IGT”, symbolizing the union of tradition and innovation. This wine combines meticulous vineyard work with precise cellar craftsmanship and showcases how Terlano’s origin, mineral elegance, and the Kofler family’s passion come together in a glass.
