Unique wines from Maremma

Tua Rita is a renowned winery in the Tuscan region of Suvereto, known for its first-class wines and its quest for quality. Founded in 1984 by Rita Tua and her husband Virgilio Bisti, the winery quickly made a name for itself for its exquisite red wines. The estate is spread over 50 hectares planted with grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Franc.

The terroir of Tua Rita is characterized by calcareous soils and a warm Mediterranean climate, which creates ideal conditions for growing high-quality grapes. Under the guidance of oenologist Stefano Chioccioli, the grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with great care to capture the full potential of the terroir.

The winery is particularly known for its red wine “Redigaffi”, a single-varietal Merlot of exceptional quality and finesse, which regularly receives international recognition. In addition to Redigaffi, Tua Rita also produces other outstanding wines such as the “Passito di Pantelleria Sese” and the “Giusto di Notri”, which reflect the diversity and expertise of the winery.
