The Friulano 2024 from Forchir is a true expression of the Tocai Friulano grape, indigenous to Friuli–Venezia Giulia. Grapes from alluvial, stony soils undergo gentle pneumatic pressing, fermentation at approximately 12 °C in stainless steel, aging on fine lees, and cold settling for clarity.
In the glass, it displays a straw-yellow hue with delicate green tinges. On the nose, unmistakable aroma of bitter almonds is embraced by white wildflowers—chamomile, hawthorn, and acacia—and a hint of ripe fruit. On the palate, it is fresh, savory, and full-bodied, with a distinct almond-driven finish that highlights the varietal identity. A modern yet typologically accurate Friulano that marries tradition with clear, vibrant aromatics.
