The Niklaserhof is located in the district of St. Nikolaus, approximately 569 meters above sea level, offering stunning views of Lake Caldaro and the Dolomites. Surrounded by vineyards, the estate cultivates around 17 hectares of vines and produces a variety of wines, including Kerner, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, and Lagrein. The wines are distinguished by their mineral freshness and clear structure, making them typical representatives of South Tyrolean winemaking.
In addition to wine production, Niklaserhof places great emphasis on crafting fine distillates. Selected pomace and fruit are transformed into high-quality spirits. The portfolio includes grappa variants such as Grappa Gewürztraminer, Grappa Kalterersee, Grappa Kerner, Grappa Sauvignon, as well as aged specialties like Grappa Klaser in oak barrels and Grappa Treber Klaser 7Y Barrique. These distillates reflect the high level of craftsmanship and passion cultivated at the distillery.
The philosophy of Niklaserhof is based on rootedness in the land, respect for nature, and vineyard-specific cultivation. These values are reflected in both wine and distillate production. The estate combines traditional techniques with modern innovations to create products of the highest quality.
Today, Niklaserhof is known not only for its wines and spirits but also for its holiday apartments, which allow guests to experience life on a South Tyrolean winery up close. The estate offers four comfortable apartments in a newly renovated building, providing an ideal base for exploring the region.
