Vermentino
Vermentino is an important white grape variety that is mainly grown in Sardinia and Tuscany. It is characterized by its aromas of lime, grapefruit, green apple, almond and daffodil. The wine is dry, has a medium-light body, no tannins and a medium-high acidity. The alcohol content is between 11.5% and 13.5%. Vermentino is served at 7-12°C and does not require decantation. It goes well with grilled white meat and fish as well as with dishes with green and herb-like aromas. The wine can be stored for 3-5 years.
