The "Ludwig" 2022 Pinot Noir by Elena Walch displays a vibrant ruby red color. On the nose, it reveals fresh aromas of dark cherries and red currants, elegantly supported by spicy pepper notes and subtle toasted nuances. On the palate, the wine shows refined concentration and complexity, with lively fruit, smooth tannins, and a well-balanced acidity. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this wine reflects the grape’s renowned finesse and depth. The grapes are carefully selected from steep hillside vineyards at 450 to 600 meters above sea level, with southwest and southeast exposures – giving the wine both freshness and body. "Ludwig" 2022 was awarded Best Pinot Noir in Italy at the 26th Pinot Noir Days in Egna/Montagna, underlining its outstanding quality.
