The Hussonet Gran Reserva 2023 from Haras de Pirque reveals a deep, intense red hue. On the nose, it opens with ripe fruit aromas, complemented by hints of chocolate, fresh mint, and balsamic undertones that are emblematic of Chile’s Maipo Valley. On the palate, it is concentrated and vibrant, with remarkable freshness and structured yet elegant tannins.

This wine is primarily composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, with a touch of Carménère. Cabernet brings flavors of blackcurrant, mint, and firm tannic backbone, while Carménère adds softness and subtle spiciness. The grapes are sourced from organically farmed vineyards in the Maipo Valley—one of Chile’s most celebrated regions for Cabernet Sauvignon. Haras de Pirque, in collaboration with the Antinori family, merges Chilean tradition with Italian winemaking expertise and is deeply committed to sustainable viticulture.
