The Camarcanda 2021 from Ca’ Marcanda beautifully expresses the elegant power of Bolgheri’s coastal terroir in Tuscany. The vineyards are located in Castagneto Carducci, where the Mediterranean climate, constant sea breezes and mineral-rich soils create ideal conditions for outstanding red wines. This location gives the wine its distinctive combination of depth, freshness and precision.
The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc reflects the classic Bolgheri style at the highest level. While Cabernet Sauvignon contributes structure, density and precise dark fruit, Cabernet Franc adds further elegance, spicy nuances and fine aromatic tension. In this coastal area, both varieties develop a remarkable balance of ripeness and freshness, which strongly defines the wine’s character.
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby red colour. On the nose, intense aromas of cassis, ripe dark berries and delicate floral hints unfold, accompanied by fine spice notes and a subtle mineral undertone. On the palate, it is concentrated and silky, with perfectly integrated tannins, dense fruit and remarkable precision. The finish is long, elegant and marked by impressive depth.
