The Südtirol Weiss DOC Amos 2023 from Cantina Kurtatsch is an elegant white wine of remarkable quality. In the glass, it shows a bright golden-yellow color, immediately conveying refinement. The nose reveals intense aromas of ripe pears, juicy apples, and exotic citrus, complemented by delicate floral hints. The blend combines Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Bianco, Riesling, and Pinot Grigio, producing a balanced and harmonious flavor profile: Chardonnay provides body and creaminess, while Sauvignon Blanc adds lively acidity and fresh fruitiness. This wine’s charm lies in its elegant complexity and versatility – perfect both on its own and alongside a variety of dishes. Cantina Kurtatsch, with its long tradition, highlights the unique qualities of the South Tyrolean terroir. The cool Alpine climate allows slow ripening of the grapes, resulting in freshness and elegance. After stainless steel fermentation, a portion of the wine is aged in wooden barrels for several months, adding extra structure and complexity. The Südtirol Weiss DOC Amos is a true jewel of South Tyrol, with a distinctive, multi-layered character – ideal for fine cuisine or simply enjoying in good company.
