The Nosiola 2024 by Cesconi is a characterful white wine from Trentino, precisely expressing the identity of the hills of Pressano. Cesconi has been farming its vineyards as a family estate since 1751 and follows an authentic organic approach with a strong focus on terroir and grape variety. The grapes come from higher-altitude vineyards around Pressano on limestone- and sandstone-rich soils, giving the wine tension, freshness, and fine savoury minerality. Nosiola is the only indigenous white grape variety of Trentino and holds special historical importance in the region. On the well-ventilated hillside sites, it develops elegance, freshness, and the delicate hazelnut note that is typical of the variety. In the glass, it shows a pale straw yellow with bright reflections. The nose reveals citrus fruit, white flowers, fresh herbs, and a delicate nutty touch. On the palate, the wine is fresh, precise, and elegant, with lively acidity, fine saline minerality, and a harmonious finish.
