The Tinto Pesquera Reserva 2020 by Alejandro Fernández displays a deep ruby red color with violet reflections. On the nose, it opens with intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits, accompanied by balsamic hints, vanilla, and liquorice – clear indicators of its aging in American oak barrels. On the palate, it is complex and elegant, with well-integrated acidity, soft tannins, and a long-lasting, refined finish. 
Made from 100% Tempranillo, this wine reflects the variety’s signature traits: red fruit aromas, moderate acidity, and smooth tannins. The Tinto Pesquera Reserva stands out for its balance between vibrant fruit and the vanilla and spice nuances imparted by oak aging. The designation “Reserva” means the wine has been aged for at least three years, including a minimum of twelve months in oak. This extended aging adds complexity, depth, and excellent aging potential.
