The Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG Clemente VII 2021 from

This wine is made entirely from
Sangiovese, the leading grape variety of the appellation. Sangiovese is known for its vibrant acidity, refined tannins and precise aromas of cherry, red berries and subtle spice. The designation
Riserva requires a
minimum ageing period of 24 months,
partly in oak, adding depth and complexity. The name “Clemente VII” refers to Pope Clement VII of the Medici family, historically connected to Florence.
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour. The bouquet reveals ripe cherry, plum and delicate spice notes. On the palate, it is well-balanced, with fresh acidity, integrated tannins and a long, dry finish.
