The Sauvignon DOC Penon Kofl 2024 from the renowned Kurtatsch Winery is among the most distinctive expressions of South Tyrolean Sauvignon. It is crafted from the classic Sauvignon Blanc grape, which thrives on the limestone- and dolomite-rich steep slopes of the single vineyard Penon-Kofl. Significant day-night temperature differences, well-drained soils and alpine influence give the wine vibrant acidity, precise freshness and a clear sense of terroir. In the glass, it displays a bright pale straw-yellow colour. The nose reveals intense varietal aromas of exotic fruits such as passion fruit and grapefruit, complemented by delicate floral nuances and subtle herbal notes that highlight the characteristic complexity of Sauvignon.
