The Rosalie Rosé Festival 2025 from Merano Winery is a fresh and modern rosé from South Tyrol, crafted from a blend of Zweigelt, Merlot, and Lagrein. The grapes come from vineyards located between 300 and 450 meters above sea level, where light moraine soils and a balanced climate create ideal conditions for expressive, fruit-driven rosé wines.
The three grape varieties complement each other perfectly: Zweigelt brings freshness and vibrant fruit, Merlot adds softness and structure, while Lagrein contributes depth and a subtle spicy character. In South Tyrol, these varieties benefit from the combination of Alpine influence and warm daytime temperatures, enhancing balance and aromatic intensity.
After a short cold maceration, fermentation takes place gently in stainless steel, followed by several months of aging on fine lees. This approach preserves freshness and highlights the wine’s fruity style.
In the glass, it shows an elegant antique pink color with ruby reflections. The nose reveals aromas of red berries, cherry, and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is smooth and well-balanced, with lively acidity, fine fruit, and a fresh, harmonious finish.
