Laimburg Estate Winery

With the Laimburg Estate Winery, South Tyrol has a unique winery that combines research, wine culture, and innovative vinification. Since its foundation, the estate has pursued the goal of documenting and further developing the diversity of South Tyrolean viticulture. The vineyards are located at various altitudes between 200 and 750 meters, thus reflecting the full range of the region.

A distinctive feature of the winery is its close collaboration with the Laimburg Research Centre. This results in wines that not only highlight the characteristics of the terroir but also serve as a model of innovation and quality. Production is deliberately limited in order to bring out the best of each grape variety and its typicity.

The portfolio includes both classic South Tyrolean grape varieties and international ones. Examples are the Sauvignon Riserva DOC Oyèll and the Gewürztraminer Riserva DOC Elyònd, which clearly underline the high standard of winemaking. Through its work, the Laimburg Estate Winery makes an important contribution to South Tyrol’s reputation as a leading wine region. It unites science and craftsmanship, tradition and modernity – and stands for wines that are both authentic and forward-looking.
