On the nose, it unfolds an intense bouquet of blackcurrants, ripe plums and subtle hints of tobacco and spice. On the palate, it is powerful and full-bodied, featuring well-structured tannins and a harmonious acidity that leads into a long, elegant finish. Cabernet Sauvignon is renowned worldwide for producing bold red wines with aromas of dark fruit, hints of bell pepper and a characteristic tannin structure. Typical for this variety are notes of blackcurrant and an impressive ability to age gracefully. The term “Riserva” in Italy signifies extended maturation in both barrel and bottle before release.
