The Spätburgunder “Enselberg” 2021 – VDP.Grosses Gewächs from Franz Keller offers pure ruby clarity and refined intensity. On the nose, ripe berry fruit, plum, and subtle roasted notes unfold gracefully. On the palate, it is powerful yet poised, with refreshing acidity and a long, persistent finish. Made from Pinot Noir, a grape prized for finesse and elegance, the wine is aged in barriques, enhancing its structure and depth. “Enselberg” is a VDP.Grosse Lage site, representing the top tier of German terroir and strict quality criteria. This is a serious, expressive red – Burgundy in spirit, but shaped by the volcanic soils and climate of the Kaiserstuhl.
