The Chianti Classico DOCG 2022 from Castello dei Rampolla is presented in a deep ruby red color that is reminiscent of the essence of Tuscan terroir. The scent combines notes of ripe cherries, wild fruits and a hint of violet, accompanied by subtle hints of tobacco and spices. The taste is a harmonious dance of freshness and intensity, with a full body and balanced acidity that results in a long, persistent finish.

This exquisite wine consists primarily of Sangiovese, which is complemented by variable proportions of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Sangiovese, known for its distinctive tannins and lively acidity, gives the wine its structure and longevity, while Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot give it depth and richness.

The special feature of this wine lies in the careful biodynamic management of the winery and the innovative vinification. The wine is first aged for eight months in concrete tanks, followed by twelve months in oak barrels with medium toast and finally six months in the bottle. This method preserves the freshness and complexity of the grapes and provides a balanced, intense taste experience.
