The Nebbiolo Langhe DOC 2024 by Moccagatta shows a deep red color with garnet reflections in the glass. The bouquet is delicate and smells of roses and violets, combined with fruity tones of raspberries and wild strawberries as well as balsamic notes. On the palate, the wine is balanced, with elegant tannins and a pleasant length. Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, the vines come from the lower areas of the vineyards and from younger vines, which gives this wine a particularly fresh and accessible quality.

The grapes are traditionally fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and then aged for five months in French barriques. The calcareous soils rich in blue-gray marl and sand are typical of this wine and the Langhe wine-growing zone. The climate is characterized by cold winters with plenty of snowfall and warm summers with occasional rainfall, which creates ideal conditions for growing Nebbiolo. Nebbiolo Langhe DOC is often the more accessible version of Barolo and Barbaresco wines, which are also made from Nebbiolo grapes.
