Riserva, this wine benefits from extended ageing and maturation, giving it remarkable depth and complexity. Grapes from
Merlot,
Cabernet Sauvignon and
Cabernet Franc are grown on sunny south-facing slopes with limestone-rich, well-ventilated soils around Margreid, delivering both character and a precise expression of terroir.
In the glass, Anticus shows a deep, насыщ ruby red with slightly lighter reflections at the rim. On the nose, it reveals intense, ripe aromas of red and dark berries, including blackberry and blackcurrant, complemented by spicy hints of pepper and thyme and subtle vanilla notes from barrique ageing. On the palate, the wine impresses with a dense yet refined structure, vibrant acidity and finely integrated, aromatic tannins, resulting in powerful presence and excellent ageing potential.
The Merlot and Cabernet varieties work in perfect harmony: Merlot brings
soft fruit richness and a velvety texture, while Cabernet Sauvignon adds
structure, spice and longevity. Cabernet Franc can contribute additional aromatic depth and floral nuances.
