The Brut Nature 2021 from Kaltern Winery is a high-quality vintage sparkling wine from Alto Adige, defined by a particularly pure and precise style. As an Alto Adige sparkling wine, it is made in a dry, no-dosage expression, placing freshness, structure and clear aromatics at the centre. The perlage is fine and persistent, highlighting the elegant, linear character of this Brut Nature. In the glass, the 2021 shows a pale straw-yellow colour with bright reflections. On the nose, it is fresh and focused, with notes of citrus, green apple and delicate floral hints, supported by subtle nuances that can recall brioche and yeast. On the palate, it is bone-dry, lively and precise, driven by taut acidity and a clearly defined mineral line. The finish is clean, long and highly refreshing, with an elegant freshness that makes the wine both ambitious and versatile.
