Prosecco Extra Brut DOC Bruno
The Prosecco Extra Brut DOC Bruno 2023 from V8+ is bright straw yellow with subtle greenish reflections. The bouquet is fresh and lively, characterized by aromas of lime, Granny Smith apple and fine acacia flowers. On the palate, the wine is crisp and dry with an elegant minerality and a persistent, citrusy finish.
This prosecco is made from 100% Glera grapes. The Glera grape, formerly known as the Prosecco grape, is known for its high acidity and ability to produce fresh, aromatic wines. Typical aromas include green apple notes, pear and floral accents, which are ideal for sparkling wine production.
The uniqueness of this wine lies in its production using the Martinotti method, which preserves the freshness and natural aromas of the Glera grape. The terroir consists of moderately deep, alkaline clay-sand soils that rest on an old “Caranto” subsoil. These soils contribute to the minerality and complexity of the wine. The climate is temperate and humid, influenced by the proximity to the sea and the alternation of cool and hot winds.
