The Sauvignon DOC 2024 by Hartmann Donà is an elegant South Tyrolean white wine that beautifully reflects the fine and precise style of this grape variety in the mineral-rich vineyards between Merano and Bolzano. Sauvignon finds ideal conditions in South Tyrol: warm sunny days ensure full aromatic ripeness, while cool nights preserve freshness and vibrant acidity. In this region especially, the variety develops a particularly elegant and refined profile, shaped by finesse and minerality rather than overt intensity.
The wine is aged exclusively in stainless steel, allowing its clear fruit expression and precise freshness to remain beautifully intact. Hartmann Donà describes it as crystal-clear, fresh, and invigorating, perfectly reflecting the house style.
In the glass, it shows a pale straw-yellow colour. On the nose, fine floral and lightly herbal notes unfold, accompanied by Golden Delicious apple, apricot blossom, and nuances of sage and rosemary. On the palate, it is mineral, lively, and precise, with vibrant acidity, delicate peach notes, elderflower, and a long, intense finish.
