The Blauburgunder Art 2022 from Abraham Winery is a characterful South Tyrolean Pinot Noir that combines origin, precision and artisanal excellence at the highest level. The family-run Weingut Abraham, based in Appiano, is considered one of the most exciting quality estates in the region. With sustainable vineyard practices, selective hand harvesting and minimal intervention in the cellar, the winery produces wines with clear terroir identity, depth and authenticity.
Blauburgunder (Pinot Noir) is regarded as one of the most demanding grape varieties in the world. In the cool, elevated vineyards of South Tyrol it finds ideal conditions: significant day-night temperature variations, calcareous soils and alpine freshness. The result is elegant red wines with fine structure, vibrant acidity, precise fruit expression and excellent ageing potential.
The 2022 vintage shows remarkable balance and complexity. In colour, it displays a bright ruby red with garnet reflections. On the nose, delicate aromas of red berries, cherry and raspberry unfold, complemented by subtle spicy notes and a hint of oak. On the palate, it impresses with silky tannins, refined freshness and a long, harmonious finish – a South Tyrolean Pinot Noir of class and character.
