The Kerner DOC 2025 from Köfererhof originates in the Isarco Valley, one of South Tyrol’s most renowned white wine regions. The vineyards around Neustift and Vahrn are located at elevations between 650 and 700 metres above sea level and benefit from significant temperature differences between warm days and cool nights. These conditions promote exceptional freshness and a particularly expressive aromatic profile.
Kerner has found ideal growing conditions in the Isarco Valley and is now considered one of the region’s flagship white grape varieties. The high-altitude vineyards, alpine climate and mineral-rich soils give the wine remarkable precision, elegance and vibrancy. At Köfererhof, the grapes are harvested by hand and carefully vinified to preserve both the varietal character and the unique expression of the terroir.
In the glass, the wine displays a bright straw-yellow colour. The bouquet reveals notes of citrus fruits, white peach and ripe apricot, complemented by delicate spicy and mineral nuances. On the palate, it is fresh, juicy and precise, with lively acidity, subtle spice and a long, harmonious finish.
