The Vallevó Rosato IGT Terre di Chieti 2025 from Cantina Frentana comes from the sun-drenched hills around Rocca San Giovanni on the Costa dei Trabocchi in Abruzzo. The vineyards are located at around 150 metres above sea level with southern exposure and clay-rich soils, giving the wine freshness, fine structure and clear fruit expression. The proximity to the Adriatic Sea also adds pleasant aromatic tension and elegance. In the province of Chieti, rosé wines are often produced from regional red grape varieties such as Montepulciano, which ripens particularly well in this area and, in rosé style, develops a beautiful balance of fruit and freshness. The rosé is based predominantly on Montepulciano, complemented by a proportion of Merlot. The maritime climate along the Trabocchi Coast supports a lively style with excellent drinkability. In the glass, it shows a delicate cherry pink colour. On the nose, fresh aromas of red berries, cherry and delicate floral notes unfold. On the palate, it is light, juicy and harmonious, with vibrant freshness, fine fruit and a pleasantly elegant finish.
