The Müller Thurgau DOC 2025 from Girlan Winery is a classic South Tyrolean white wine defined by freshness and alpine character. The vineyards around Girlan in the Überetsch area are rooted in limestone and porphyry soils and benefit from significant day–night temperature variations. These conditions support slow aromatic development while preserving natural acidity. Müller-Thurgau is a cross between Riesling and Madeleine Royale, bred in the late 19th century by Hermann Müller from the Swiss canton of Thurgau. In South Tyrol, particularly at higher elevations, it develops delicate floral aromas, subtle nutmeg nuances and lively freshness. Vinified mainly in stainless steel, it retains clarity, varietal purity and precision. In the glass, it shows a pale straw yellow with green reflections. The nose reveals apple, citrus and white peach with light muscat hints. On the palate, it is fresh and well-balanced, with vibrant acidity and a clean, fruit-driven finish.
