The Pinot Noir Riserva DOC Maglen 2023 from Cantina Tramin comes from selected vineyards on the sunny slopes surrounding Tramin and is produced exclusively from Pinot Noir. The **Riserva** designation reflects a longer aging period and the careful selection of high-quality grapes, allowing the wine to develop greater depth, structure, and complexity. Limestone- and gravel-rich soils, combined with significant temperature differences between warm days and cool nights, create ideal conditions for an elegant Pinot Noir with a distinctive sense of origin. After careful hand harvesting, the wine is vinified and then matured in oak casks, where fruit and spice harmoniously integrate to create a refined structure. The result is a complex red wine that balances elegance and intensity with remarkable harmony.
In the glass, it displays an intense ruby-red color. The bouquet reveals aromas of ripe cherries, wild berries, and plums, complemented by elegant spicy notes and delicate toasted nuances. On the palate, it is elegant and structured, with silky tannins, lively freshness, and a long, harmonious finish.
