The Pulsar V Weiss IGT Amphore Tava 2021 from Roberto Ferrari is an unconventional white wine from the Pulsar range, a collection dedicated to naturally crafted, skin-fermented wines made with minimal intervention. The blend of Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Chardonnay undergoes spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts before maturing for several months in terracotta amphorae. It is then aged briefly in tonneau barrels and bottled without filtration and without the addition of sulfites after an extended maturation period. This gentle winemaking approach highlights the character of both the grape varieties and the terroir, giving the wine a distinctive structure and remarkable depth of expression. The result is a white wine with a unique personality, combining elegance, complexity, and authenticity.
In the glass, it displays an intense, slightly cloudy golden-yellow color. The bouquet reveals aromas of mint, orange peel, honey, and citrus fruits, complemented by delicate herbal and spicy nuances. On the palate, it is juicy and mineral, with subtle tannins, lively freshness, and a long, multilayered finish.
